Proggy Opti

Nicolas Botti contributed this variation to the larger Proggy fonts. It’s very readable with slight variations to the serifs of many characters. Only available in bitmap format. Use at point size 9 (bitmap font)

Coding Font Tobi

Tobias Werner created and contributed this font. It has many similarities to Proggy Clean without any touching glyphs. The font glyps are 7×12. One pixel shorter than Proggy Clean and one pixel higher than Square. The ANSI extended characters are included. Use at point size 12/16 ttf.

CG Mono

A very nice programming font contributed by Christian Gruen. This font works well at a number of point sizes. 7 or 9pt seems to work well on windows systems.

Progsole

A cross between Lucida Console and Proggy Tiny. Glenn Schemenauer made this font for use in GTK+ GUI applications. It comes as a BDF and an SFD file and will display in GTK as well as terminals. Please note: The example on the download page is not quite correct. Look at the screenshot for a […]

Proggy Clean CP

Proggy Centered Punctuation is identical to the well-liked Proggy Clean but the commas, colons, etc are centered. According to Karl Landström, who contributed this font, “If you have the habit of never inserting spaces after punctuations the current version looks good, but if you do insert spaces (as myself) the distance between the punctuation and […]

Proggy Tiny BP

Real programmers use Proggy Tiny. Proggy Tiny Bold Punctuation is well-proportioned and is the smallest programming font I could come up with while maintaining distinctive characters and good readability. I use this quite often where I want a high information density. It is identical to Proggy Tiny but has bold punctuation. Use at point size […]

Proggy Square BP

Proggy Square Bold Punctuation is identical to Proggy Square but has a bolded punctuation characters Proggy Square has a slightly tighter line spacing than Proggy Clean, but is still extremely easy to read. Use at point size 9 (bitmap font)

Proggy Clean SZBP

Proggy Clean Slashed Zero Bold Punctuation is identical to the well-liked Proggy Clean but has a slashed zero instead of a dot. In addition, this font contains some bold punctuation characters and delimiters. The bold characters make things like variable scope (braces/brackets/parentheses are bold) and function arguments (commas etc are bold) more apparent to the […]

Proggy Square SZ

Proggy Square Slashed Zero is identical to Proggy Square but has a slashed zero instead of a dot. Proggy Square has a slightly tighter line spacing than Proggy Clean, but is still extremely easy to read. Only the bitmap ANSI version has all the extended characters. The ttf and pcf files are missing some of […]
