Creep

Creep is quite a small font with glyphs that are 4×7 pixels. It allows for a lot of text on a small area while still being very readable. The unicode coverage is great and still growing as I am actively maintaining this font (visit the github page). The unicode coverage is already great but if […]

Webby Small is a proportional bitmap screen font great for using on web pages where small high-tech text is needed. Make sure you don’t anti-alias this font in whatever paint program you use. The backslash can be used for the copyright symbol. Use at point size 9 (bitmap font)

Pixel Carnage

This font was created by “The Wolf” at www.pixelcarnage.com It is one of the larger fonts at this site and has plenty of whitespace for easy reading.

Crisp

Chris Pine created the truetype Crisp font. Crisp is a little larger than the others, which is probably a good thing as some people would like to save their eyes. All the important programming font characteristics are present in this font. Use at point size 12 (PC), or 16 (mac)

Speedy

Walter Reel created this font by modifying Proggy Square to his liking. Most significantly, touching glyphs were removed. Use at point size 9 (bitmap font) The X Windows pcf download actually comes with two separate pcf files at different sizes (11 and 12 I think).

Dina

Jørgen Ibsen created this font. It has many similarities to Proggy Clean in the lower case letters but without any touching glyphs in the capitals. I like everything about this font with the exception of the capital Q and a more personal preference for a single serif on the lower case ell. Use at point […]
